Im: Arte is a collective of a diverse group of artists seeking to take  immigration advocacy to a different front in winch its members visually,  re-imagine their voices and stories.Art has always played a key  role in social movements, which has visually illustrated movement’s  goals and visions, and played a major role in solidarity with community  through visual communication. Social realism art depicts on social  tribulations within our society, and can ultimately play a huge role in  the transformation toward social change as we work towards a utopian  society.Furthermore, Im:Arte is committed to educate, and create  social awareness through visual communication that can serve as a form  of social change.Im:Arte is committed to create artwork the  moves forward the agenda of immigrant rights movement in the United  States and Beyond.The name, Im: Arte, was organically chosen  after a lengthy discussion of its founders’ values, interests, and  passions. They realized that they embrace diversity; that their art  comes from their inner soul and it externalized for the people, who they  love and are their source of inspiration. Im: Arte is a versatile name  that can also be read as I’m Arte and ImARTe; it incorporates English  and Spanish; and it incorporated part of the word “amarte” meaning to  love
